The 2026 National Consumer Protection Week (NCPW) has begun. From Sunday, March 1 through Saturday, March 7, the Federal Trade Commission and organizations across the country will come together to host outreach events designed to help people spot scams, avoid fraud, and better understand their consumer rights.
What’s Happening During NCPW?
Throughout this week, there are a wide range of informative events, including:
- A webinar on emerging scams and how to recognize them early
- A roundtable discussion on the top scams affecting older adults
- In-person events happening in communities across the country
All events and resources are gathered in one place, making it easy to find something that fits your interests. There are plenty of simple ways to participate during NCPW 2026:
